How can failure tie into small business success?

What Does Failure Really Mean?

The glory days of our childhood, we were taught that we need to go to school to learn a thing or two.

We were also taught the we need to make good grades to excel in life. Which, supposable, make us smart.

If we don’t receive a passing grade, it is called, “failing.”

Now, as a little child, that feeling of not scoring high and being teased by your peers (who can say damaging words), that can kill your spirit in doing your best.

Have you notice, many people, who are in school, have a great fear of testing. To be frank, you do not have to be in school to have this kind of fear.

This feeling has spread like wildfire Even into our adulthood.

We’ve been taught all our lives that failure is bad and we (subconsciously),believe it. It’s the “fear of failure” that keeps us from driving to success.

Listen, what we were taught, at a very young age was incorrect. How we use our words, means everything.

What does “failure” really mean? It means nothing. There is no such word as such if you are giving it your best shot at becoming your best self.

Failure only applies to those individuals who do nothing when it comes to EFFORT. We call them, losers. They gave up before they get started.

I truly believe that it would have had a profound impact on the hearts and minds of many students in this world today if the word “learning was used instead of failure.

You may ask, “can failure be a friend to you in your small business?

The answer is, yes it can. Now, let me explain.

The Ford Motor company.

Mr. Ford had a wonderful idea. Let’s build transportation (car), for the common man and woman.

So, Mr. Ford, took his idea to an organization who headed the transportation industry. His idea was rejected. Declined.

So, what did Mr. Ford do? He did not quit. He did not believe in so-call-failure.

Mr. Ford, took that organization to court and eventually won his case.

Mr. Ford took the time to learn about his options and pursued one of his major dreams.

As a small business owner, we know that failure is not an option. Consistent learning. Consistent preparation. Positive habits that bring us success.

So-called failure, is a way to bring us into awareness of what we missed. What we’ve lacked in.

That’s the only way failure can be a friend to you. By opening your eyes to things that matter. Like being the best version of yourself.

So-called Failure Is a Gift

Without it in the world of business, how can we improve? How would you know the greatness inside of you if everything went right for you always?
